Stonecroft Bible Studies formerly (Friendship Bible Coffees), Nigeria is affiliated with Stonecroft Ministries, Kansas City, U.S.A. Stonecroft Bible Studies formerly FBC was introduced to Nigeria on the 2nd of June, 1982 in a very small way by Mrs. Bunmi Adeniji, an ambassador’s wife on her return to Nigeria from Geneva where she first joined the Stonecroft Bible Studies. The Bible Studies commenced in Nigeria with a group of eight ladies led by Mrs. Bunmi Adeniji. Each lady at the end of their study of the Book of Mark hosted a new group in her neighbourhood.
Mrs. Remi Ayida took on the responsibility of watering the seed that had been sown by Mrs. Bunmi Adeniji. Mrs. Remi Ayida was very passionate and committed to the spreading of the Bible Study groups. It was under this one woman that the Friendship Bible Fellowship Ministries (FBFM) was born to be a fertile soil for the Stonecroft Bible Study to thrive. Forty years on and thousands of lives have been changed for eternity in Nigeria and the story continues.
On the International front, Stonecroft Bible Studies, Nigeria has remained strong in her commitment and purpose of keeping alive, the vision of reaching women and men alike where they are, as they are with the good news about Jesus Christ.
Following the historic meeting held in Switzerland a few years ago where Leaders from Canada, South Africa, Switzerland, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, United States of America and France met to discuss ways to enhance the evangelistic impact of ministries in our countries, and to strengthen partnerships – a wonderful experience of fourteen women, seven countries, twelve languages, one shared heart –coming together for the “fellowship of the gospel”! The sisterly bond from that meeting which set the stage for subsequent meetings has continued to grow over the years as we meet bi-monthly through the online zoom conference calls, to share ideas, pray, talk, learn, laugh and encourage one another not minding our different cultures and backgrounds.
Daily devotionals, Everyday with Jesus daily devotionals and other Christian books for both children and adults are available in our bookshop.
Various charitable outreach events that are inspiring and educative are organized every year to impact and support the youths, men and women of all ages especially the vulnerable ones boosting their morale and giving them a memorable treat.
FBFM provides a comfortable settings where you can pray or learn how to pray. A well rounded program focusses on Scripture and specified prayer points for the nation, communities, families, church and institutions.
A unique arm of Stonecroft Bible Studies under umbrella of Friendship Bible Fellowship Ministries (FBFM) that provides an avenue through which to present Jesus Christ as the only satisfying Way of Life to career/professional women, homemakers, and their friends who are invited to special meetings such as breakfast, luncheons, brunch or dinner meetings held at a lovely and relaxed atmostphere.
Women from all walks of Life attend and enjoy the delightful atmosphere which offers opportunity for a speaker to share relevant information for today, including the reality of Jesus Christ and how to become a Christian.
